We have recently released Referral feature for Joy. Let's check this out

General concepts​

Terms​

  • Referral: The act or process of transferring something to another, of sending by reference, or referring.
  • Referrer: (Brand Advocate/ Ambassador): a person who makes a referral/refers another (their friends, family and acquaintances).
  • Referee (Friend): a person who is invited to a referral/ referred by another.

How does it work?​

  • A referral program is a system that incentivizes previous customers to recommend your products to their family and friends with referral links generated from the app. If referee make a purchase via referral links, there will be a reward for them. To encourage referee to order via referral links, the discount code will also be promoted within referral link.

  • Each customers has an unique referral link which will only be generated after they enter their email to get referall link

  • Admin can also view referral link from each customer account

  • Completed Referral

    • A referral is marked as Completed when Referee click on the invited link and place orders sucessfully no matter if they have been used the coupon code or not
    • Completed Referral only counts for the first order made throuhg the referal link. That means 1 referrer can only make a single referral for 1 referee per 1 order. The rule helps to prevent spam orders or any cheating activities
